GEGs are independently run communities of educators who inspire and empower each other to meet the needs of students through technology both in the classroom and beyond. GEGs provide a way for educators who are passionate about education and technology to meet like minded people to share, learn, and collaborate together. GEGs are self-led by educators and provide a space for us to: GEGs can be local, regional, or even global, and they meet both in person and online. They are a great way for educators to connect with like-minded colleagues and learn from each other. Do you say GEG (to rhyme with egg) or pronounce each letter? There is no consensus on this; some people choose to read GEG as a word and some people prefer to read it as an acronym, so choose whatever you feel most comfortable with.
