There are two types of participation in GEG Brunei: 1. Official Members The leadership members who manage and govern GEG Brunei. Membership is currently limited to 9 official positions, including the founding nominator/mentor. Official members may have voting and decision-making responsibilities within the organization. 2. Affiliates / Associates Community participants who are officially connected to GEG Brunei and can join activities, professional learning, networking, and events. Affiliates and Associates are not official members, do not hold voting rights, and are not counted as members of the Society, but they remain an important part of the GEG Brunei community. 3. GEG Champion (Honorary Recognition) A special honorary recognition awarded to individuals who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to GEG Brunei or the wider educational technology community. Part of this community whose service has significantly advanced GEG Brunei’s mission.
This recognition is not a membership category and does not confer governance or voting rights. It serves to celebrate outstanding service, leadership, innovation, and impact on the community.
